Tracking at the HOT trial was on dry, black dirt. We don’t HAVE dry, black dirt in my area of Virginia! So, we practiced and practiced and practiced as soon as we got to Austin. It must have worked. :-)

I wish I had some tracking pics, but I don’t. Ash started the track with a lot of drive and concentration. He held his pace and his concentration throughout. He overshot the first turn by about a headlength, he was quick and straight on the article, he nailed the second turn, and he found the last article but was slightly crooked in the down.

The result. . . 99 points!!!!
